Then Personal Training with Nichole here at the Sun Salutations Yoga & Wellness Center private gym is for you! As someone who has been overweight/obese more than half her life, was born with severe chronic asthma (now completely under control through lifestyle changes), and has risen high above depression and self-esteem issues, she understands what it feels like to be in another's shoes...firsthand.
The studio's private gym is located on the second floor of the studio (downstairs is the yoga teaching room). The beautifully designed and naturally bright space is equipped with everything you need to begin your journey toward better health, including myofascial release rollers, a rowing machine, recumbent bike, Maxi Climber, treadmill, cardio heavy bag, medicine balls, dumbbells, kettlebells, battle ropes, weight bench, barbells, ab rollers, stability balls, BOSU balls, jump ropes, resistance cables and bands, core sliders, and much, much more! The space also has a full kitchen for teaching plant-based healthy cooking (individually or in a class setting). Ceiling fans and air conditioning help cool the room when needed.
You can sweat, grunt, cuss, laugh, wear whatever you want (provided you can move easily), listen to your favorite music as loud as you want, and be completely YOU during your workout, as Nichole helps make sure you're staying safe, in correct form and alignment, BREATHING, and having fun, while achieving your personalized goals!
Starting with a consultation in which you'll complete basic medical questions, take measurements, discuss your history, partake in an assessment of your current abilities and limitations, and discuss your fitness goals, she'll determine a program that would be best for you. Nichole will then design a weekly or bi-weekly workout tailored to match your personalized needs on your journey toward a healthier, stronger, more energized, and empowered YOU!
